Chun Quoit

Two versions of the same shot - one in fetching plastic livery and one sleek and refined glass-wear. Which do you prefer???
Did anyone realise that there is a general election about to happen in 2 weeks here in the uk?? Why is it so quiet on the Western Front? I remember GE's during my childhood to be noisy affairs with hot debates, doorstep canvasing and massive feelings of uncertainty - will the blue witch get in for yet another term .... how much more damage will she be empowered to do. But then again, that was the 80's. Now all we get is three main parties (well 2 and a half) spouting the same rubbish with very little variation or vision. Clearly the labour government have shown that they cant really make a difference with their rather wanky 3rd way (or is it just the same way as all the rest???).
We need someone who is brave enough to say, "hang on, none of this is working, we need to change things drastically - try something that really is new" ... I urge any readers of this blog who feel disillusioned like me about the lack of choice in this current political climate to take a look at the Green Party Manifesto Even if you dont agree with the philosophy, you must admit it is so very refreshing that a growingly popular political movement is brave emough to suggest radical ideas in a manifesto aimed at the mainstream ... local currency!, citizens income! - this is amazing food for thought (and tastes to me like it was cooked by a michelin star chef).
I'm going to vote green, but then again, I'm a hippy.

Both are beauties.
But if I have to chose, I'd go with number one.
Cause it's plastic. :)
And for me, there's always more soul to plastic.
But I'm a bit off my nut for blur and all.
So keep in mind who this is coming from.
Love them both.

I prefer the top one...i think. More atmosphere!
Both very nice though.
And the green party stuff is indeed radical in a good way!
When I was a kid (about 6 yrs olkd i think) the GE used to scare me, I remember hearing all the propaganda about a labour government andhow it would mean the end of the world as we know it!
How amusing!

Plastic for me too. Just has more character.
I am torn between the Greens and the 'Dems. The problem is I live in a fairly safe Tory seat and the only person likely to knock the smarmy git off is Labour. Do I vote with my concience and effectively waste my vote or do I do the tactical thing and help Bleugh to a larger majority?
One of the best preserved quoits in the West Penwith area, the huge capstone stands about 2m above the ground supported on the central chamber
gownland - why are you just copying text from books/ other sites?
I prefer the first one because the vignetting (I hope I remembered the correct term ;)) really gives the subject a mysterious, mystified extra.
